Thornton Nutrition Review was founded to address a gap in the UK consumer information landscape: too many supplement reviews are written by affiliates or influencers with commercial interests that are not always clearly disclosed. We operate differently.

Our editorial team holds backgrounds in nutrition science, registered dietetics, consumer affairs journalism, and UK food regulatory compliance. Every product assessment follows a documented four-point methodology: ingredient verification against EFSA published opinions, label transparency and NRV compliance, organoleptic evaluation (taste, solubility, texture), and packaging and sustainability assessment.

We do not accept payment for positive coverage. Products are purchased at retail price or received as unsolicited samples; our scoring methodology remains unchanged in either case.

EFSA Claim Verification

Every nutrition or health claim we reproduce is cross-referenced against the EFSA Register of Authorised Claims and published scientific opinions before publication. We do not repeat unsubstantiated marketing language.

Independent Testing

Our team uses a standardised four-week evaluation period for any supplement we review. Assessments are conducted by team members who have not been briefed by the manufacturer.
